We are championing the CNG project in Nigeria.

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a fuel gas mainly composed of methane (CH4), compressed to less than 1% of the volume it occupies at standard atmospheric pressure. 

CNG buses are alternative fuel buses that uses Compressed Natural Gas. It is environmentally friendly and has many benefits some of which are listed below:

  1. It is cheap
  2. It has more energy content
  3. It emits lower level of greenhouse gases
  4. It is safer than fuel and other forms of gases
  5. Distribution Infrastructure is easier to deploy than most gases

We deal majorly on two variants of CNG buses- City buses and Coach buses.

CNG CITY BUSES

PROPERTIES OF CITY BUSES

  1. Designed for short intra-city runs
  2. Low maximum speed limit
  3. Provision for standing and wheel chair passengers
  4. Two entrances on the curb side
  5. Low back seats and no luggage space

CNG COACH BUSES

PROPERTIES OF COACH BUSES

  1. No provision for standing
  2. Usually have a single narrow door with only a few having two doors

WE ALSO OFFER CNG SERVICE STATIONS

  • The CNG stations will be of two types: The Mother station and Daughter station.
  • The mother station will be connected to the city’s natural gas pipe with an input pressure of 16 bar.
  • The daughter station will include a gas trailer and dispenser with an input pressure of 3bar.
  • The quantity of the of CNG buses purchased will determine the number of CNG service stations to be deployed.
  • One CNG station will service 300 units of CNG buses.

The CNG Daughter stations where deployed using all of the options below:

  1. Deployment of a gas trailer and dispenser with an input pressure of 3bar. 
  2. Deployment of refill centers at bus stations/terminals.
  3. Deployment of cascades at some designated filling stations along the route of our buses.
  4. We partner with NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML) and The Nigerian Gas Infrastructure Company on deployment of CNG mother stations in strategic places in-country.
